Simple workflow

How to prepare a government-form file

01

Check the notification

Find the current format, KB range and pixel/dimension rule for your exam.

02

Choose a utility

Open the photo, signature, ID merge or PDF tool that matches your file.

03

Select the target

Where supported, use the shared target-size compression workflow instead of a separate compressor.

04

Verify before upload

Open the downloaded file and confirm its format, size and readability before submitting.

Why file-size preparation matters

Strict KB limits

Application portals may reject an otherwise valid image or document when it is outside the stated file-size range.

Dimensions matter too

A correct KB size does not automatically mean the pixel dimensions or aspect ratio are correct.

Keep documents readable

Compression should reduce unnecessary file weight without making a signature, ID or certificate difficult to read.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make an Aadhaar front and back file for a government form?

Yes. Use Merge Front & Back of Aadhaar / ID Card to combine two images, then use the image or PDF compression workflow if the destination portal has a size limit.

Can the tools target an exact KB size?

The common compression workflow treats the selected size as a requested target. File formats have practical limits, so the final valid file can be slightly different from the target.

Are these exam requirements universal?

No. Upload rules can change by exam, year, application stage and notification. Treat the presets on this page as a preparation reference and verify the current official notification before submission.
